How to Make an Appointment
Please call in or telephone during our normal working hours for routine appointments.
If possible your pet will be seen on the same day by the vet of your choice and to ensure continuity of care we try to book you to see the same vet for follow up consultations.
Our consultations are 15 minutes long. This extended time gives us the opportunity to thoroughly examine your pet and discuss any diagnostic and treatment options. It also hopefully cuts down on waiting times!
House Calls
We are able to do house calls if you cannot bring your pet to the surgery. We prefer to treat your pet at the practice where we have all the necessary equipment, trained staff and medicines to hand.
Alternatively, a nurse can collect and return your pet to you in our animal ambulance. These services have an additional charge and require extra notice to arrange.
Repeat Prescriptions
All repeat prescriptions are authorised and checked by a Vet before being dispensed to ensure correct dosages and medicines. Please order these medicines 24 hours in advance of collection to allow for this.
Emergency Services
There is a Veterinary Surgeon on call for emergency treatment 24 hours a day every day of the year, we also have a dedicated on call trained nurse. Your call will be answered by one of our veterinary surgeons, so immediate advice can be given. There is an additional charge for out of hours consultations.
