Chris qualified from Cambridge in 1995. After a few years in mixed practice, he joined Brookfield in 2004, became a partner in 2005 and now supports and mentors younger vets within the team. The practice is co-owned by him and his wife Victoria, and they are proud that they have remained independent over all this time. He enjoys tackling complex medical cases. He obtained a certificate in diagnostic imaging in 2017 which includes ultrasonography and radiography. He also offers in-depth consultations in dermatology. Chris has raised money for various charities over the years by running the London Marathon (7 times!) as well as cycle rides including Lands’ End to John O Groats. Apart from sport he also loves to travel and spend time with his family of 4 boys, Derek the dog and Hugo the cat.

In 2021, she gained her certificate in dentistry and now, in 2026, is doing her post-graduate certificate in Soft Tissue Surgery. She is the vet lead for our laparoscopic (keyhole) spay service, as part of her love for surgery. As well as four sons, Chris and Victoria have a ginger cat Hugo, and an ageing Labrador Derek, rescued in 2013.

Charles now shares his time between both branches but predominantly works in Ledbury as our Clinical Director. Charles and his wife, Fran (one of our other vets), have just welcomed their fourth child, Poppy, in January. In his spare time, when his hands aren’t full, he enjoys renovating his Victorian property and playing padel. Charles and his family have two Norfolk Terriers, and an assortment of guinea pigs and chickens.
